Black Ops 6 Season 3 marks the long-awaited return of Double Tap in Zombies, but the Perk is a little different than fans remember. Double Tap first appeared in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and was widely regarded as one of the worst Perks because it only made your fire rate faster and caused you to waste ammo. Treyarch reworked the Perk for Black Ops 2, so it not only increased weapon fire rate but also fired two bullets instead of one when you pulled the trigger. As a result, sniper rifles finally became popular weapons in the game mode, and other unpopular weapons became more viable. Double Tap Major & Minor Augments![]() Augments are a brand-new loadout mechanic in Black Ops 6 Zombies. They further allow players to customize their Perks, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades.
